REALLY small world


It was good to see a picture of Kelli and her dog, Ace, with Milan, Nate and Laura's dog, in The Broomfield Enterprise after enjoying Dog Daze again this year. DD is held each year after the water park closes and before it is drained and closed for the winter. The doggies get to visit 'The Bay' and we have a real hoot, watching hundreds of them run around, chase tennis balls, go down the slides, and just thoroughly enjoy themselves playing in the water. It has become so popular that reservatons are required and there are three shifts of pooches. The following week, the pool is stocked with fish and 'special' fisherpersons are allowed to reel 'em in. A great idea, that, as far as I know, is done only in Broomfield. However, it may begin to 'catch on' in other areas. Ted, Kari's husband, was in Algeria on business this week, and while watching French television, same a news tidbit featuring Dog Daze, in Broomfield, Colorado. Not only that, but they also featured Kelli and Milan. WOW! What are the odds? Again, a great idea that will undoubtedly spread. Didn't realize how far or how fast, though....

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
