Saw Slumdog,


today, and for 90% of the movie, thought, this isn't worth it, even though I know it's gonna be a feel good movie, at the end. BUT, it probably was worth it, even though you go thru the bottom to get to the top. Great feeling at the end, BUT, it's really hard to see the poverty that alot of the world lives in. Opened my eyes, but it still hurt, and am not sure it was worth it, to be subjected to a part of the world we usually never see. If there was a saving grace, it was the chance to look at Latika, an amazingly beautiful person...

I understand this movie has an extrmely good chance of taking a few Oscars...it has 10 nominations. I gave up watching Award ceremonies years ago.
