Finally realized,

it just doesn't matter, here and now, what happened in Okla City, so long ago. Maybe I'm just late to the party in realizing that it was a big lie. I thought that there would be more, or at least SOME reaction to the fact that all 4 of the tapes, finally received from the FBI, had been altered. I guess we, as a society, are pretty hard to shock any more, and just accept that the gov't lies to us. 'Tis pretty sad....

I can't remember,

being SO consumed, as I was with a story in the paper today. The tapes, finally released by the FBI, after years of court battles, from 4 buildings near the Murrah Bldg, blown up in Okla City, had all been edited, with approx 12 seconds, right before the blast, missing. from each one. I started doing research on it, and couldn't believe what I was finding. I remember thinking how strange, that someone smart enough to make a HUGE bomb, could be so stupid as to drive away, at 100 mph, in a car w/no license plates, and carrying incriminating information. Also, McVeigh was connected by a VIN on the rear axle of a blown up Ryder rental truck. There is no VIN on truck axles I thought at the time, and found out today, that is true. That was just the beginning. There were ZERO FBI or ATF agents injured in the attack, even though they were the supposed target. Several dozen, were ALL out of the office, that day. The murders of Mike Loudenslager and Terry Yeakey who tried to tell the truth, and it goes on and on. Gonna take a break now, but there is NO doubt. It was an inside job, with multiple bombs. Don't believe me? That's what Google is for...

Maybe the best yet,

evidence in a cover up of the Oklahoma City Bombing
http://www.okcbombing.net/News%20Articles/Editorials/mike_laudenslager.htm

It is SO obvious,

when you take the time to do the research, that taking down the Alfred P Murrah building, in Oklahoma City, was NOT, just Timothy McVeigh, and a fertilizer bomb. I don't claim to know who did it, or why, but have looked at MANY websites today, and read lots of expert testimony, and one of the best, well researched and documented, is the following.
http://www.apfn.org/apfn/hoffman.htm

Not only were there TWO explosions, there were two more bombs found, that didn't go off.
Live TV from the scene that day, and many interviews confirm this. Candy Avey, who was in the Social Security office, on the 3rd floor, was blown FROM the building, to a car parked outside. As I said, do your own research, and see what YOU think.

Can't ignore this

http://beyond-the-illusion.com/files/New-Files/980615/okcConspiracy.txt

Read post before this first, about edited tapes released today.

That's why it's interesting that survivors reported feeling an earthquake for several seconds before the truck bomb went off."I thought it was an earthquake, because I resided in California for many years, and it was almost like slow motion," recalled one survivor. "I felt a shake, and then it began shaking more and I dove under my desk. Then the glass came in; I think that helped me."Jane Graham, longtime government employee and Union Local president, felt the same thing."As soon as I sat down and turned on the computer, I felt a waving motion of the building," she says. "It felt like a rumble -- it was like the ground was rolling, and the building was swaying east to west. The young lady who was giving the class said, 'Everybody, it's an earthquake. Get under your table, under your desk -- somewhere.' And it must have been somewhere between seven and ten seconds at the most, I believe. Then I heard the explosion, and the last thing I remember is looking up, and the roof had been blown off and was suspended in air."Seismic readings at 9:02 a.m. show two distinct ground motion spikes at the time of the bombing: a mild spike, a ten-second delay, then a sharp spike.

In this article, you read of 2 different events. First, a rolling like an earthquake, (when the steel supports were taken out by the first bomb), and people hiding under their desks, THEN, a huge blast, that took out the windows, etc. Seismic data from that time confirms 2 blasts. The TV footage from the local news that day, which I saw earlier today, and has witnesses saying that, has been removed from the web. Also, several engineers, who are identified, with their credentials, say that from the pictures they saw, the main steel supports were taken out by bombs, on the inside of the building, on the third floor. That explains why the tapes, from 4 other buildings, capturing events outside that day, have all been edited. They would have shown that. Also, there was no crater, like there should have been, from an explosion large enough to take down the building. Do your own research. Google different aspects of the bombing. Hate to be 'that conspiracy guy', but this looks REAL suspicious..
This site has a BUNCH of well documented stories, that shed a light on the whole cover up'
http://www.apfn.org/apfn/OKC_update.htm

What don't they want us to see?

http://news.aol.com/article/tapes-of-bombing-aftermath-in-oklahoma/689142
After years of lawsuits, 4 security tapes from around the Oklahoma Federal Bldg were finally released. All had been edited at the same point.
The tapes turned over by the FBI came from security cameras various companies had mounted outside office buildings near the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. They are blank at points before 9:02 a.m., when a truck bomb carrying a 4,000 pound fertilizer-and-fuel-oil bomb detonated in front of the building, Trentadue said.
"Four cameras in four different locations going blank at basically the same time on the morning of April 19, 1995. There ain't no such thing as a coincidence," Trentadue said.
He said government officials claim the security cameras did not record the minutes before the bombing because "they had run out of tape" or "the tape was being replaced."
"The interesting thing is they spring back on after 9:02," he said. "The absence of footage from these crucial time intervals is evidence that there is something there that the FBI doesn't want anybody to see."
Will be interesting to see if anything comes of this story. Interested in a cover up in this? Read about Terry Yeakey's 'suicide', and Mike Loudenslager's untimely death.

Had a great day, yesterday,

with little Piper. She is SO cute and sweet. 'Course I may be a little biased, but I don't think so. Carol and I babysat, and had a wonderful time, while Nate and Laura went to see 'Kooza'. She is at the age where she giggles and smiles. Pretty cool....

Am curious,

what others think about the 'recovery', in our economy. I think it is wishful thinking, and things look bad, for the future. Others think we are on our way out of this downturn. What you think? Let me know. We going up, or down? Anonymous is OK....

Nate said,

I should do a blogpost about new music. Well, I don't really hear that much, and the last one I really liked was a female artist that I heard while on my way to see them. I told him, he was gone a minute or so, then I heard it on his music system. He just plugged the name of the song into Imeem.com, and came up with the song, instantly. The last new song I CAN remember REALLY liking is, 'Peacekeeper', by Fleetwood Mac. Check it out, on Imeem.com.

One more, Dick Abood story

I was playing intramural B-ball, at Kearney State, 'cause my hair was too long to play on the college team. We won the league and went to the state playoff at North Platte, where Dick's uncle lived, so he went with us, for the game. We won, and went to the Holiday Inn bar to celebrate. I was sitting with Dick, with my long hair hanging out, while we had a Budweiser. There were a couple of cowboys, getting drunk who didn't like my hair, which was kinda unusual in Nebr in the late 60's, and they started giving me some crap. They didn't realize, the rest of my team was just walking in. Bottom line, I told the redneck to kiss my ass and he invited me outside to fight. Since I knew I had back up, and I was bigger than him, I took him up on his offer. As we got outside, he went to break his long neck Bud against a post, so he could have a glass shard like he saw in the movies, BUT, he misjudged his swing, and the bottle broke in his hand, cutting it REALLY bad. He was bleeding BIG time. Probably good for him, 'cause I was in pretty good shape, in those days, and had my buddies there to back me up. Whew, strange days...

Back in the good ol days,

Dick Abood and I were in shop class, which was separate building, in the 9th grade. The main heat source was a wood burning stove, in the middle of the room. As our teacher, Burt Bennett, was yelling at Dick, for using a good paint brush to spread glue, there was a loud, continuing explosion, as the bullets that Richard Nickle had thrown into the stove, started exploding. We hit the floor, thinking we were under attack, and Burt forgot about Dick's transgression. Was pretty funny at the time...

another Dick Abood story,

has to do with leftovers from his father's restaurant. I noticed there was a lot of good food they were throwing away, and he remembered how he had seen rats, at the public dump, eating the scraps. SO, we took the trash can to the dump, spread it out along the edge, and waited as the sun went down, with..... our automatic shotguns. No way to sugarcoat it. We waited 'til the rats came out and were eating the scraps, then turned on the headlights, and emptied our shotguns. Nebraska teenagers vs. rodents. We won. Had not thought of this story for over 40 years, BUT, was thinking about Dick Abood stories. Not too PC, BUT, still got a couple...

Since I'm doing Dick Abood stories,

there is one I can't forget. Again, it was spring time, Dick had just gotten a '67 Camaro, and it was 'road trip' time again. We drove his new car to Lake McConoughy on a beautiful early summer day, rented a boat, and fished the north side of the dam, catching a bunch of white bass. Again, the short version. We had a six pack, which was fine for 2 guys, for the day, at the time. We wanted to get a sun tan, and, being totally white, after a Nebraska winter, spent the entire day, shirtless, in a boat, with the sun beating down on us. By nightfall, we had the worst sunburn either of us had ever had, and, I am sure, have ever had, since then. It was SO BAD, we had to spend the night at his uncle's house in North Platte. It is said your brain doesn't remember pain. WRONG! I remember that sunburn pain, 'cause I couldn't sit in the vinyl seat of of the new Camaro because it hurt SO bad. Bottom line, after peeling all my upper body skin, I will never forget that kind of stupidity...

Shortly after getting our driver's licenses,

Dick Abood and I, with our younger brothers, decided we needed a road trip. It was early spring, lovely weather, and we had heard about rainbow trout being caught at Merritt Reservoir, in a remote part of western Nebraska. We packed basic camping gear and fishing stuff, but very little food, 'cause it was just an overnighter, and we were gonna eat trout. The short version of our adventure starts with the weather changing as soon as we got there and we fished, without success, in a cold wind, ate our hot dogs and beans, and went to bed early in our tent. We woke up to snow the next morning and it snowed all day. When it finally stopped, there was about 18" on the ground, we were the only ones around, and there was no way our old 2WD car was driving out of there. It didn't take long to realize we were gonna be there awhile, as we were far off the beaten path, as far as snowplows were concerned, and we had NO food, other than a couple of hot dog buns and a tin of sardines that Dick had brought for a snack. The only thing I hate worse than liver (I like most everything), is sardines. BUT, by the end of the third day, I remember having half a hot dog bun, with 2 sardines on it, that Dick was good enough to share. It was FANTASTIC! To this day, I still hate liver and sardines, BUT, Ill never forget that delicious sandwich....

Not sure what

triggered it, but was thinking about an old friend that I went to school with, and some of the adventures we shared. Dick was originally a pharmacist, got bored with it, got his law degree, then specialized in pharmaceutical law, taught it at the Univ of Wyoming, and is now doing quite well as a highly paid 'expert' in court cases. Also, I should mention, that at the age of about 35, or so, Dick suffered from a rare disease, where ALL his hair fell out, and never grew back. And I mean ALL of it, including including eyebrows, eyelashes, etc. Anyway, one of the stories I thought of, last night, was when we were starving students in our second or third year in college. I mean, we were HUNGRY, and had almost NO money. So, we pooled our cash, about 75 cents, bought a couple gallons of gas and decided to go pheasant hunting, even though it was not pheasant season. We finally got one, and cleaned and boned it in the field, so there was no evidence, and took it to my folks house, to cook it. We had the strips of meat, and saw a deep frier, and decided to roll it in flour and deep fry it. BUT, it turned black, not golden, and tasted kinda strange. Good, but very different. We FINALLY realized we had rolled it in powdered sugar, not flour. I think we ate it all. though. As I said, we were HUNGRY. Reminds me of another time we got really hungry....

Let me take a wild guess, here

IF Obama sends more troops to Afghanistan, the right-wingers will criticize him for some alledged problem. If he DOESN'T send more troops, they will criticize him for a different problem. Don't have to be a mind reader here. NO WAY, will the right wing be mollified, no matter what he does. Wanna bet?

HBO Special, tonight,

called 'The Last Truck', from GM. The closing of a plant. (Everyone should be forced to watch this). Individual stories of people losing their jobs, with no hope of getting another one. Lots of cying and sadness. Thanks, George W Bush. You killed the automotive industry in the US, and the entire economy, with your $4/gal gas, while your buddies made a killing, at the expense of the American public. Thanks, W. You and your Repub friends, in cahoots with the Arabs and the rest of 'Big Oil', made HUGE profits, while the people of Detroit, and millions of Americans, lost it all. There are those who understand this, AND there is the FOX crowd, who want to blame our current situation on Obama, who inherited W's mess. Unbelievable..

Big story on FOX, today,

is that FOX (we distort, you comply), wasn't included in Obama's TV blitz, in which he refuted many of the lies, spread by....FOX. A White House spokesman replied. "We dealt with all the major news outlets. FOX is an 'idealogical' outlet." Well said. At least he didn't come out and call them LIARS!, which is much closer to the truth. FOX, a news outlet? What a joke. They are nothing but a propaganda machine, run by, and for, the Republican Party. Most people, by far, realize this. The ones that don't? Naive, gullible and ignorant sheep. Pawns in a 'Big Money' political war. Sad, but true...

The new Time magazine,

features Glenn Beck, the pudgy, buzz-cut, weepy, recovering alcoholic, Mormon convert with ADHD who is one of the front men for FOX. He has noticed there is a 'bit of discontent' in the country, and rubbing the sore, has become a lucrative business. He has a multi-million dollar staff that unearths every problem that comes down the pike, and he chooses the most egregious to rant about. Called by Steven King, "Satan's mentally challenged younger brother", he has found an audience, (if you believe the figures, it is still WELL UNDER 5% of the population), that is very upset and very loud. Of course things are bad. Bush screwed up the economy in ways we have never seen before. Is this guy the answer or part of the problem? You gotta be kidding. I just know that rabble-rousing has never paid so well, SO, I don't think it's gonna change, any time soon...

I'd been looking

at digital picture frames, but hadn't seen any I liked AND could afford, until a couple weeks ago. For Mom's b-day, I got a Haier PF720, with a 7" screen, AC adaptor, automatic scrolling mode, and a remote. Also, what makes it really neat, is the fact that it takes 4 different types of digital photo cards. SO, I got a 1 meg SD card, and loaded a few hundred pics on it. Should arrive at their house soon. Hopefully, they can figure out how to use and enjoy it. Carol wants one for her desk, now. Pretty neat technology...

For the first time,

since we got it, 8 years ago, our hot tub was shut down for a few months, 'cause we just didn't use it that much in the summer. Well, these old bones were really missing it, lately, so we fired it up yesterday. This morning it was 101 degrees, with brand new water. WOW. I'd forgotten how nice it was. Heard the new forecast this morning and the snow level is s'posed to be down to 7500 feet, (Piper's first snow?), with a high, down here, in the mid fifties on Monday. Sounds like hot tub weather to me...

52 yr. old Cindy Hoover,

was leaving Central City, last Thursday, about 40 miles from here, when she swerved, in her 2004 Passat, to miss some deer in the road, and careened down a ravine, with the car finally coming to rest on it's top. Cindy had 12 broken ribs and a dislocated back, among other injuries. With no food or water, and having lost her shoes, over the course of FIVE days and nights, she was able to drag herself nearly 500 feet to the Hidee Gold Mine, which happened to be giving a tour. She was bruised and dirty, after a weekend where the high temp was 45 degrees, but still alive. I can't imagine going through that...

Don't know if you heard,

but, after Obama's 'education' speech, Dick Ceney, demanded, and got, equal time on FOX. He demonstrated how to stuff a geek's head into a locker.

Joe Wilson, the new Repub hero,

NOT to be confused with Joe Wilson (of Valerie Plame fame, the GHW Bush appointed expert on nuclear power in the middle east, who said there was NO WAY Saddam had nuclear weapons), with a juvenile display of temper and poor judgement, took the dignity of the Repub party to a new low, which is VERY difficult to do. The same people who pledged to "take down Obama, with the defeat of health care reform', are in lockstep with the big businesses that give us the most expensive, though nowhere near the best, healthcare, in the world. Caring nothing for the small businesses who can't afford raises or new hiring, because they pay so much in health care premiums, and ignoring the fact that overpriced health care is bankrupting the go'vt faster than W's 'oops, bad info' war, are supported by 'tea baggers', most of whom are on Medicare, and can't see the irony of shouting, "Keep government OUT of health care". It would be funny if it weren't so sad. But, you gotta admit, they were sure smart to keep their kids out of school so Obama wouldn't indoctrinate them into being Socialists. More leadership from the Red States, home of the Repub Party and the lowest education/income in the country. Could it be more obvious???

One more time,

for you reality challenged psychos (Repubs), who are bitching about the HUGE deficit. This is Bush's legacy. Obama just inherited the debt. Like a drunken sailor, who stole a credit card, Bush left the bill for someone else to pay. If you listen to the Rush's and O'Reilly's, you'd believe that Obama went on a spending spree. WRONG! He's just left with the bill. Sure, he coulda just let the country slide into the Great Depression II. But you woulda bitched more about that. Never mind. Reality isn't a concept that you really understand...

Interesting Biblical questions

I need some advice regarding specific laws and how to follow them.

Reprinted without permission.

When I burn a bull on the alter as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev.1: 9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev. 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
Lev 21:22 states that I may not approach the alter of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?
Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including around their temples, even though they are expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?
I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/ polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go through the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

Just wondering, for those of you who claim the Bible is 100% true, and is to be taken literally...

Silver facts

Reprinted from "Ruff Times", by Howard Ruff.

Silver is a jewelry and monetary metal, but it is also a very important industrial metal. http://www.mincoplc.com/silver/usesSilver.htm
It has over 2,000 industrial uses. Back in the ‘70s when I liked silver over gold, there was ten times as much silver above ground as there was gold. Despite that, we made two to three times as much money on silver as we did on gold.
Now the ratio has changed. Industrial use has so depleted our silver inventory that government now owns none and there is six times more gold above ground than silver, which is by far the scarcer of the two metals.
So why is gold many times more expensive than silver? Because 99.9 percent of the people in the world think gold is much rarer than silver. But they are wrong – dead wrong – and sooner or later the supply/demand equation will favor silver and narrow the pricing gap between the two metals.
Most of silver is as a byproduct of mining base metals, like copper and zinc. In this economic collapse, we will mine a lot less copper and zinc, and produce a lot less silver. Silver supplies will become tighter and tighter, which means higher prices.

Just part of the reason I like silver. It's up nearly 100% from the year's low, and I think it will go higher if the economy picks up, and MUCH higher if the economy tanks like I think it will. Anyway, I made my bet on silver awhile back, and just wanted to share this article. They key part? There is six times more gold above ground than silver, and silver has MANY idustrial uses, on top of jewelry, coinage and as a financial safeguard. From all the charts, it looks like it's going up. As always, financial advice is worth exactly what you pay for it. Zilch!

Mid-Eastern hero, released early

On Dec. 14, al-Zeidi fired one of his shoes at Bush during his final press conference in Baghdad, shouting in Arabic, "This is your farewell kiss, you dog!" Then he threw the other one with the words, "This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq!"

Now, upon his early release from prison, he has been offered a 4 BR house, a new Mercedes, $10 million for his shoes, a gold saddled horse, statues have been erected to him and his shoes, and grateful fathers have offered their daughters in marriage.
All this from people who would, in the words of that loveable Dick Cheney, "greet us with hugs and flowers' for 'liberating' them.
Thanks Bush, and your Repub henchmen, for making us so popular in the oil basket of the world.

If there was ever a doubt.

as to where the Repub, bought and paid for, Congressmen stand, it is how they react to the health care crisis, which is bankrupting our country. Bottom line, they will do ANYTHING it takes to defeat Obama, including spreading lies and misinformation, like 'death panels' and coverage for illegal aliens, which is specifically excluded. One thing Obama didn't mention loud and long enough, was the fact that he INHERITED a Trillion dollar deficit, from those clowns who were in control for 8 years, and who had inherited a surplus. We could have health insurance for less than we paid, (and continue to pay for), W's 'oops, bad information', adventure in Iraq, OR, the Trillion dollar tax break he gave his billonaire buddies. And they talk about financial conservatism. WHAT A LAUGH!! They are there for their own profit. Screw the people. It's the Republican way. Has it ever been more obvious???

Wackos unite!

We all know this isn't about medical care. This is about defeating Obama, and the Democrats. Fight health care reform! We, as Americans, deserve to pay the highest price, BY FAR, for health care, increasing at 10% a year, while being rated #38 in the world, in results. Doctors, hospitals and insurance companies deserve to make billions per in profits, while denying care to those who need it most. It's the American way! Death panels rule! Anything it takes to return the Repubs to power. Screw those bleeding heart liberals that think corporations shouldn't get rich while those with 'pre-existing conditions' get shut out to go bankrupt and die. Bottom line, it's ALL about defeating Obama and the Democrats. We NEED more of the Bush and Cheney agenda. Big Oil and war. It's the American way....

For all you wack jobs out there,

did you see how radical Obama was, with his message to students? He wants them to stay in school and get an education. BAD news for you. Education means they can think. Bad for you... If you can get them to listen to Rush and O'Reilly, instead of thinking, you have a chance, with your propaganda. Bush, and war, with $4/gal gas is good. Peace and health care reform is bad. Let's just hope, they think, instead of going with your agenda. It's they only way our species has a chance of surviving...

Saturday, September 05, 2009

I know there are wackos out there, but,

this whole uproar about Obama addressing students about the importance of education, and staying in school, is just unbelievable. After hearing a woman cry, saying she doesn't want her children brainwashed into becoming Socialists, and hearing all the right wing nut jobs screaming 'this is how Hitler and Stalin started', it just shows how this part of the population is mentally unbalanced. It will be interesting to actually hear and/or read what it is that the crackpots are so opposed to. At a time when education is more important than ever, their entire agenda of opposing 'anything and everything' that Obama does, is getting really sickening.
