Has it really been 5 years?

In 2005 I was in Beaumont, TX, watching Katrina coming toward us. Then, as I lived in a trailer outside Houma, after Katrina wrecked the area, I rode out Hurricane Rita, with over 15" of rain, 80+MPH winds, and rising water that stopped 2" from flooding out my truck and trailer. In some ways seems like LONG ago, and at other times like yesterday. Wow, five years ago...

an entirely new perspective on government has come my way via a book I am in the middle of reading titled: 7 Events That Made America America and proved that the founding fathers were right all along, by Larry Schweikart. It has been an eye opener for me.

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
