Just when I think

the American electorate is hopelessly stupid, Lisa Murkowski wins an historic write-in victory over Sara's personal pick in Alaska, where they know Palin the best.  AND, I found out how Bristol is surviving on 'Dancing'. Seems the Tea Partiers found a glitch where they can vote repeatedly, by using fake e-mail addresses, and they overwhelmed the system, (cuz these people vote, not intelligently, but overwhelmingly) Not surprising, but one guy in Wisconsin was so upset by the Bristol's 'success' he blew out his TV with a shotgun, and got arrested. Poor Bristol. Must be pretty embarrassing to have to keep going through the charade that she is a great dancer, when it is SO obvious that she's not.

Well I knew it was fixed when Rick Fox was eliminated over Bristol "the pistol". That vacant stare on her face during her performances says it all. Did you see the surprise look on the faces of the other dancers when Brandy lost? Derek Hough's jaw hit the floor! I so enjoyed watching the professional dancers, but this Tuesday's program nailed it for me. Never again will I watch that program.

Hey, Ladyj you are right on!

It's a damn shame that voters choose favs over talent. Bristol may have "worked hard and long" as she stated, but that still doesn't make her a dancer. Her footwork improved, however, she never once emoted and that's what got Audrina Patridge removed.

So where did you "find out" that the Tea Partiers were fixing the vote?

Just curious.

Besides, who cares anyway?

Doubt that it can be proven, but googling something like 'tea party bristol dancing stars' provides some sorta interesting reading. Logically speaking, something weird is going on. Nothing against the kid, but she's no super dancer.

I did google it and did not "find out" that the tea party is behind it. Bunch of conjectures and rumors, possibly some tea partiers voted for her, and that it's more of a popularity contest than talent show. The tea party "leader" in Calif said they didn't have time for it (yea right. I always believe politicians). Didn't spend a lot of time with it though.

I don't watch the show, but was curious about your comment. I'm more into NCIS, Bones and Cougar Town.

That's why I said, 'doubt that it can be proven'. It's one of the few 'arguements' or problems we have, when it come time to pick a TV channel. My wife likes dancing wts and that's usually when I go to whatever book I'm reading, but I'll sneak a peak at some of the 'stars' She was way upset when Rick Fox and Kurt Warner were removed, with higher scores from the judges, and miss 'bad attitude' stayed..Gotta admit, the producers found a way to create some interest, and that's sorta what it's all about, sad to say.

Yup. It's all a ratings game.

Who is 'miss bad attitude"? Also, Kurt Warner could not hold his form; his neck jutted forward and he danced with his knees bent and his feet never were straight, which is a no-no. He has no rhythm, which Miss Palin lacks, as well. People who cannot keep the beat without music playing, lack rhythm. One can learn by practice, as Bristol does, and that is why she has that distant look on her face; she is playing the routine through her head as she goes along. One must "feel" the music..she doesn't. That's why she shouldn't be there. As for Steve, I knew once the Tea baggers were brought up, he would come out of the woodwork and object. Bless his thumpin' gizzard.

Bad attitude would be miss Palin. She has a look on her face like she just swallowed a toad. I agree about Warner's dancing, but Rick Fox was good.

Rick Fox should not have been eliminated before Bristol. He was good. You cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. At least, she has the savy not to wear what is not flattering for her body, as other's have done, ergo, Niecy Nash.
