On 60 Minutes, tonight,

there is the story of a Catholic priest, who is charismatic and likeable, until he opens his mouth about Catholicism, and how the priests are required to be celibate, and denies how many are attracted to young men. What's real is real, and hard to deny. How can you support the Catholic chucrh, with all it's baggage? It is SO unreal, and just part of the church's diminishing role in today's society. The literal Bible vs proven science? Not even close. Once 'your immortal soul' is mentioned, does your brain just cease to exist?

Anon.....if you only knew how PAGAN the Catholic church is and its practices. How it drew its teachings and worship from ancient Babylon, the cradle of paganism. To have an IDOL of the mother of Jesus and to worship and pray to that IDOL when the scriptures tell us in no uncertain terms that we are to have no other Gods before us and not to worship Idols. Mary was a human, as was Moses, Jacob, Abraham, Mark, John, Peter. The Catholic church is the only religion that has Christ still on the cross; has the rosery; prays in rote; has Saints; has a man obsolve sins. I know more ex-Catholics who say they were so screwed up by the church teachings and frightened by nuns and priests. When the church hides the Bible from the congregation to preach it's own "kind" of truth, I would be worried!
