As a public service announcement,

I'm passing along a tip I learned from my 'very sharp' nephew, Jordan. Had a great time with him, and in addition to other fun facts, learned how to improve the performance of my wireless router. Like many others, it has to be unplugged, or 'rebooted' every couple of days, for some reason or other. Jordan says this is very common and a good way around it is to use a timer that shuts it off for a while, typically in the middle of the night when you're not using it. Voila! Hooked it up and it seems to be working. MUCH easier than replacing it, with all the wireless devices we would have to re-program. Don't remember what # beer we were on, at the time, but it wasn't the first...
