Am so proud

of Colorado and Broomfield, continually voted as one of the 'Best Places to Live'. According to the newspaper this morning, Bmfd had 80% voter turnout, going with Obama, and Dianne Primavera (D), who beat Pigott (R), the right wing lackey, just like Perlmutter(D) pounded rightwinger Joe Coors. As for Prop 64, within one month, Gov Hickenlooper will certify the state election and each person in Colorado can legally possess 1 ounce of pot and grow 6 plants. I'm thinking it just might help Colorado tourism, because the law is in effect for everyone, not just CO residents, AND the state Atty General says he WILL defend the law against the Feds. Should be interesting, cuz there will be separate 'pot shops' for medical vs recreational weed. Is this a great state or what?
