had another article on legalized pot, and, as always have tried to show both sides. This morning's rightwinger had a typical, 'I tried it, and liked it, became a responsible adult and quit, BUT, the kids don't need another vice, and we shouldn't make it seem like it's OK'. Then she went on to admit that the criminalization of pot hasn't worked, with billions wasted, prisons filled with 'criminals' whose only offense was pot and the cartels are the ones who profit. WTF? You can't have it both ways! Either it's legal. or it isn't. If kids want to get it, they will, either way. I also don't like the idea of youngsters overdoing it, BUT, it's worse to waste billions, criminalize responsible adults and enrich the cartels. It's not the Black and White, Right vs Wrong world that most Repubs live in. It's kinda gray and you gotta choose which path causes the least harm. Sorta like Dems vs Pubs. I really don't like Dems that much, with their over generous social programs, BUT, compared to the alternative, they look pretty good. Same with pot, given the 2 choices, it's time to end a prohibition never worked and never will.
