Strange day,

cuz our cable box has been acting up, and we got it replaced today (losing all our recorded stuff), BUT after the tech left, we had no WiFi, therefore no internet. I had no idea how dependent I was/am, on the internet, esp with last minute shopping. SO, I got him to come back, and he FINALLY got us hooked up. And told us to keep the TV on, to make sure everything was gonna keep working. SO, I kept the TV on to CNBC, the Financial Channel, on a day when the Russian ruble crashed, and the daily volume of the NYSE stock exchange was the highest in years, resulting in over a 600 point 'swing' in the markets. Wrong day to have the boob tube on, BUT, did get some online shopping done.
