Saw A Star Is Born yesterday, and it was pretty good.
The performances by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were excellent, along with the music and the first half of the movie.
Then it began to drag, turning into a slow motion train wreck as you knew what was gonna happen and just wanted them to pick up the pace. Good, but not great flick, IMHO.
Good preview of the upcoming ‘Vice’, the story of The Dick, Cheney, and his greedy, power hungry ego and LIES led the US into the disastrous war in Iraq.
From the same people who gave us The Big Short, explaining the financial crisis(R) of 2008 so that even an ignorant Repub could understand, IF they remove their head from their ass, we get to see how the head of Big Oil took over the Energy Dept, the Military and foreign policy from a dim witted GWBush and started a war, based on LIES, that changed the history of the world. The Chicken Hawk birthed Isis and caused the greatest immigrant crisis of modern times, while killing thousands and fill8ng the VA hospitals, which along with bomb and bullet production is a Repub specialty.
For what?
To drive oil prices up,over a thousand percent and make America the pariah of the world?
Should be a great movie and I’m looking forward to seeing the truth of what happened.
