The Law and Order party (what a joke) may have a problem.

 It seems there were several jerks at the violent, Dotard-inspired insurrection who are now going to run for office, again.

Not so fast..

The 14th Amendment specifically denies these assholes that opportunity, the same as if they were under age or not a citizen. The wording is very clear, and it bars them from public office.

Passed in the wake of the Civil War to prevent former rebels from serving in Congress, Section 3 of the 14th Amendment states: “No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress … who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”

Now, we just need the law to be enforced.
