Only one more step


We meet on Saturday for the final step in "Operation Deep Freeze". That is, cutting, grinding and packaging this year's elk. Much easier now that we bring it all back, deboned. (Or is it boned?) Whatever, for ?th time, we meet to process the coming year's main protein source. Like Ringo says, "It don't come easy, you know it don't come easy..." It's worth it, though, I think... Note the loins, on a table between Matt and Nate. Wow.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
