Senate Democrat Asks Feds To Declassify Documents On Paul Manafort And Russia

The former Trump adviser turned federal prisoner is reportedly in talks to work with Trump again.

 A bipartisan report from a Senate select committee investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, published in 2020, found “that Manafort’s presence on the [2016] Campaign and proximity to Trump allowed Russian intelligence services to exert influence over, and acquire confidential information on, the Trump Campaign.” 

“Taken as a whole, Manafort’s high-level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services ... represented a grave counterintelligence threat,” the report said.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store
