We lost one of Hollywood’s most creative, intelligent people, when Rob Reiner, who gave us ‘When Harry Met Sally’,
‘A Few Good Men’, ‘The Princess Bride’ and many other great movies was killed in his home.
Such an intelligent, perceptive person, like most of us, couldn’t stand the asshole in the White House.
Reiner, 78, repeatedly criticized Trump. During an MSNBC appearance in October, he said, "We have a year before this country becomes a full-on autocracy completely and democracy completely leaves us," according to The Hill.
He told Variety that Trump was "mentally unfit" for the presidency.
"Donald Trump is the single-most unqualified human being to ever assume the presidency of the United States," he said.
Reiner's criticism has continued through this term.
"Our Democracy is being taken away from us and we only have about a year," he said in an interview on MS NOW in October. "We're sliding downhill in a very, very fast way, and we have to find a way to stop it."
Duh, ya think?
