Everyone KNOWS that he cares for no one but himself. As for others, they’re viewed from the aspect of how much money he can grift from them.
But empathy? The psychopathic jackass doesn’t even know what it means, and that’s why the stuffed shirts broke out in laughter.
It’s like extolling the virtues of a hungry feral pig, when the slop hits the trough.
