The U.S. Is Pulling Back on Energy Efficiency Just as Prices Are Rising

The Trump administration is undoing fuel-saving efforts even as war in Iran, data centers and heat waves are pushing up gasoline and electricity costs.

Utility companies used to buy back energy produced by solar using customers at the same rate they charged, but Trump’s people changed the rules, like they lowered incentives to ‘go solar’.

They now pay ONE THIRD of what they charge, making a difference of hundreds, or thousands of dollars in utility bills for consumers, all in an effort to make solar less attractive, and increase profits for the utility monopolies.

Nothing new here, but sickening, and typical of Boss Hogg.
