Had a great Father's Day,


with the kids over for a BBQ yesterday. Laura looks like the granddaughter could arrive any day. Got a gift certificate for Sky Ventures, which will allow me to fly, without the use of an airplane. A special 'wing-suit', and some hi-speed fans should do the trick. Will let you know how it goes. Dad continues to do amazingly well for an 86 year-old. Other good news; Nate and Matt drew their elk licenses, with Ted and I getting preference points, so we should have a chance at elk for the next couple of years.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
