A view of the 'Tour',


from our cruise on the Seine, (pronounced Sen, I thought it was Sane). Our first day, was went to the very top, and had an amazing view of Paris (pronounced Pair-ee). Got to see our hotel, near the Arc de Triomphe, in relationship to the sights we wanted to see. When you go down to the Metro, change trains a couple of times, then come up, it's hard to keep perspective, but, when seen from above, you get an idea of when it is a good time to walk, from one site to another. Anyway, the tower was huge, and also the city. MUCH bigger than I imagined. I especially recommend the wine and pastries. Thanks again. Carol.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
