Those of you, who know me,

know that I'm not a big country music fan, but, I'm watching the 'Brooks and Dunn' special, and am really likin' it. Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Reba, Sugarland and Taylor Swift. Normally, the only time I listen to country is when I'm on the road, between gigs. Gotta admit, I enjoy it, for a while, kinda like NPR and the smalltown news, when I'm in the middle of nowhere, for days at a time. Anyway, was kind of an unexpected treat, tonight, to hear some good country music. It's come a long ways from the old, 'cry in your beer' and twangy guitars...

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
