As I watch,


the Rockies go ahead of the Padres, 8-0, in the 6th, it looks like Ubaldo Jimenez is gonna win his 14th game, against one loss. And that one loss was when he was obviously sick. Pale and sweating, and bedridden w/the flu shortly after the game. Still, 14-1 ain't bad. One of the best starts ever, which isn't too surprising when you look at his fastball at 100 mph, and a big breaking ball at 97. Hard to imagine that kinda heat. Really fun to watch....

It's now about 11:00 at night and the Rocks are holdong on 8-6 w/the bases loaded against them. Hate to whine, but the ump REALLY sucks.

Consider yourself lucky you're not an Indians fan. We here in Ohio and for that matter Detroit Tigers, too, weep & cuss alot! (Being so close to the border of Michigan, we waffle.)

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
