The Broomfield Eagles


had their 2nd football game of the year, last night, against arch-rival, (and #1 in 4A State rankings), Monarch Coyotes. And beat them 42-19. Seems we have the fastest kid in 4A, running back kicks and punts. Should be fun this year, as we can just walk over to the Friday Night Lights. Go Eagles. AND, CU beat CSU to get a good start on their season. Can't believe it's already football time.....

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
