Kari used to live in Amalfi, Italy,

and about a mile up the coast, in very similar village, is Atrani. Check out this video of a flood there, yesterday. Starts out a little slow, where the beach looks just like Marina Grande in Amalfi, then around 1:40 to 2:00 it gets pretty unbelievable. The flooded town square looks just like the one in Amalfi where we had wine in the evening and Kari broke her ankle. For some stupid reason the link won't load, but if you google 'atrani flood', or Daveslandslideblog, you will see an amazing video.

That's an amazing video. I can't believe all the cars that came down, and then how deep it got. Such amazing people who live in that part of the world.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...
