Good ‘Letter to the Editor’ today, for those jerks(R) who can look at Dotard and say, ‘Yup, that’s my boy.’

 Re: “Casting my vote for policy,” Jan. 27 letter to the editor

I believe the letter writer’s comments that his reason for voting for Trump was based on policies he supports, and he was willing to overlook many character flaws that would otherwise be disqualifying.

I also believe there are many potential Republican candidates who are intelligent, honest, ethical, and brave who support and endorse these very same policies — candidates who do not lie nonstop (from small lies about crowd size to big lies about election fraud) and incite unstable mobs to storm the Capitol in an effort to destroy our republic.

I sincerely hope that he finds and supports such a candidate because now we know that any vote for Trump is a vote against democracy.
