Great day trip today.

 Within an hour and twenty minutes we were Estes Park and had a beautiful drive along the way.

The Rockies this time of year are off the chart. No big crowds during the week and had a great time just being touristy.

Even fished the spillway at Lake Estes and had a little action.

After golfing earlier in the week, harvesting our garden and apples, am still thinking this is my fave time of year…..

BTW, watching a good show about how the Trump administration totally screwed up the CDC, firing people who told the truth about COVID illness and deaths cuz it made Dotard ‘look bad’.

Long lasting damage done to an agency that should NEVER have been politicized as corruption overrode  the scientists and medical people who are there for us.

With the help of FOX and other stooges they turned the public against those who protect us so the Orange Clown wouldn’t be blamed for the hundreds of thousands he killed through LIES and incompetence.

Soooo typical of the asshole and the sheep who blindly support his lies and corruption as he’ll do/say ANYTHING for money and power.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...
