I ve only met the players from one soccer team this year, and they’re in the finals for the World Cup.

 While staying in Athens, on our way to Istanbul a few weeks ago, we shared our hotel with the French team when they beat Greece. Met some  players as they were checking in, some at breakfast and several as we all waited for transportation.

Anyway, we must have been good luck cuz they keep on winning. We should have traded autographs….

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
