Sad to say,


the Nuggets season is finally over. After winning the first two 7 game series, Denver lost game 6 to the Lakers last night, in the finals of the Western Conf. Sadly, they saved their worst game for last. In a combination of the Nugs playing poorly and Kobe and the Lakers doing everything right, the hometown boys went out with a whimper. From midway in the 2nd quarter it was all LA. 'Twas still a great season, but it was a real sad way to end it. The good news? Next year Denver should build on this experience and be even better. Am looking forward to it...

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
