Did anyone else

see the Kentucky Derby this yesterday? Wow. A 50-1 shot, came from last place to win by about 15 lengths. Mine That Bird, with Calvin Burrell on board, won, going away, on a muddy track. Bought for $9500, and driven across the country, by an owner with a broken leg, it was the 2nd biggest upset in the history of the Derby. You had to love the big hearted jockey who rode a perfect race, hanging in last place over 3/4 of the way. Another thrill from the wonderful world of sports.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
