We're baaaack,


Am still pretty toasted, but we are safely home after an amazing trip to Paris. Will take awhile to get back on Colorado time, with the 8 (or 9,?) hour difference. With the exception of most of a day wasted on a trip to Versailles (closed on Mondays), we had a mahvelous time, and will post some pics and tales when I get settled back in. Thanks again, Carol, (shown here at the Louvre), for an amazing b-day present. Next time, though, could we fly First Class? This tall, old body just doesn't fit too well in a normal airline seat for a 12 hour flight, BUT, I guess I shouldn't complain TOO much....

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them. A once proud party, like a beast in it's death throes, striking out to harm whatever's close, threatening to shut the gov't down, (again), over the debt limit, which is just paying the bills they already ran up.
