Big Day, today

as the last of the combat troops leave Iraq. Not quite the 'pub' that shock and awe, got, 7 1/2 years ago, but HUGE, none the less. Nearly 8 years after W invaded Iraq, based on, 'oops, bad info', we are finally leaving. What can I say? So much bullshit, that we have gotten used to, and is not even news anymore. The Repubs won. The public doesn't care any more. So sad, but reality, for the sheep....

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
