I had a post about Joe Coors' (R) ad campaign, against Ed Perlmutter, that set a new low for political mud slinging, in my opinion. Seems the Denver Post, that bends over backward to stay neutral, agrees with me. In the lead Editorial, today, they brought Joe's smear campaign to light.

Fact-challenged political ads are seemingly as abundant as yellow leaves this time of year. But some ads are so despicable that they merit special condemnation.
Such is the case for a television ad released last week by Republican Joe Coors, which not only stretches the truth, it does so while going after a candidate's family.
