Lots to be thankful for,

this Thanksgiving as we're headed up to Nate and Laura's for the annual celebration. They do such a good job that it just keeps on growing, with about 20 guests expected this year. Gonna be hard to find couch space for a nap after the big dinner. At least the road up the canyon, Highway 72, is finally open after the big floods this year. Just part of a surreal fall that started with a trip to the UK and is just now returning to a bit of normalcy. Like I said, lots to be thankful for this year as I realize the importance of friends and family, which makes this wonderful life worth living. Best wishes to all...

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
