Saw a good movie, yesterday

Since it was Sr Tuesday, we saw 'Captain Phillips', with Tom Hanks playing the title role in a real life adventure. Well done flick that moved along very well, until the last part, where I KNEW what was gonna happen, but it took a while to get there. The pirate 'captain' could well win an Oscar for his portrayal of a Somali pirate, with few options in life. Am considering going to see '12 Years a Slave', but not sure I could handle the brutality, knowing it's a true story.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
