The govt reached the debt ceiling, today, but will be able to juggle funds until June or so. That’s when the shit will hit the fan. And even though we’ve been there before,

 with the Pubs flinging handfuls of excrement, it’s gonna be worse this time, cuz, in the past, the (pre-Trump) politicians have eventually been able to work out a compromise.

But a wing of the Republican Party insists that cuts to government programs, including Social Security and Medicare, must be combined with increases in the debt limit. The deal that Representative Kevin McCarthy of California struck with holdout Republicans to gain the post of House speaker has raised the risks of an outcome that boggles the mind: a default on supposedly “risk-free” Treasury debt that could destabilize the global financial system.

And that’s what these aholes(R) want. They want to wreck things SOO badly that voters will vote out the Dems and give power to those who sunk the ship.

And they, the crazies like Boebert, Gosar and MTG now have the power to totally scuttle the world economy. And they WILL do it, cuz they don’t have the brain power to see past their own ambition.
