White House Considering Bailout For Farmers Hurt By Trump's Trade War

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, said “relief” for American farmers suffering as a result of Trump's trade war is being considered.

When Trump started a battle over tariffs in his first term, taxpayers funded a $23 billion agricultural rescue package after China imposed high retaliatory duties on American imports.

This time around, the duties are far more extensive, and their implementation more chaotic.
