The arrogant jackass lives in a fantasy world

He even shared an image   ranking himself above George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, among others, as the greatest president of all time. Trump exists in a world where he can do no wrong. Where he is loved by the people and feared by his enemies. His deals never fail, his wars are overwhelming victories and his party is on the march to another majority. By any measure,  Trump is brutally unpopular . His average approval rating has sunk to the mid-to-low 30s, he is underwater on virtually every issue — including immigration and inflation, the ones that brought him to office a second time — and the public disapproves of most of his schemes and stunts, such as his pathetic move  to rename Lake Ontario  to spite Canadian leaders.  He has dragged down Republicans in the House, who are projected to lose their majority, and is dragging them down in the Senate as well, where a once favorable map has turned sideways, as Democrats  make headway  ...

As the world moves toward drone warfare, Pistol Pete and Captain Bonespurs dismantle the US response.

Lawmakers Ask Army To Explain Why It Told Military Unit To Stop Specializing In Drone Warfare WASHINGTON (AP) — A bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers is pressing the Army to explain why it told a unit based in Europe to  stop specializing in drone warfare , an order that comes as the world’s  battlefields rapidly evolve  and military tactics increasingly rely on uncrewed systems to fight. The 173rd Airborne Brigade was building its own drones and practicing the kind of warfare that  Ukraine has pioneered  against Russia and that  Iran has fought against the U.S. — warfare that has  killed and wounded  American troops. The brigade of 600 soldiers was set up in November to be deployed anywhere that drones were needed, but Hegseth ordered it to be disbanded, for reasons yet to be explained. The dickhead isn’t just screwing the US, he’s messing up the financial system of the entire world, rewarding his Big Oil buddies and buying oil company stock.

ECONOMY The war is raising the price of money. That’s a problem for the global economy It was supposed to be a quick, four week operation, but now the war has dragged out for more than six months, with no end in sight, disrupting the flow of energy out of the most critical supply region in the world. That’s forced investors to reprice energy, inflation and bonds. Energy shock pushes up inflation Last month was the most expensive August for gas prices in US history, according to AAA. Diesel, a crucial fuel for the economy, has spiked 51% since the war started, and this will work its way through the entire economy, making everything more expensive for everyone, especially those who can afford it least. The Gulf of America and Lake America? The Donald Trump Kennedy Center? A new, fake gold Trump coin? And now Trump Straight? The conceited, egotistical, arrogant bastard is demented….

President Donald Trump on Wednesday floated renaming the Strait of Hormuz after himself, suggesting the critical waterway could become the "Trump Strait" as his administration says the United States has gained control of the passage during the war with Iran. "Now that we have it under U.S.A. control, should we change the name Hormuz Strait to TRUMP STRAIT???" Trump asked on  Truth Social . "Like America itself, it would be 'hotter' than ever before! Thank you for your attention to this matter," he added. OMG, the arrogant bastard has lost it….as he continues to screw up the entire world economy, with everyone paying over fifty percent more for oil, gas and diesel…..and no end in sight. Thanks a bunch, MAGA morons.

As I’ve said here, often, just watch the bond yields…if you wanna know how screwed we are, under Boss Hogg.

Bond Sell-Off Threatens to Squeeze Borrowers Around the World Government bond yields are hitting multi-decade highs, reflecting anxiety about debt levels, deficits and inflation. The effects will extend to mortgages, business loans and other types of credit.
