I’m totally baffled as nearly half of people in the US can be hornswaggled by an obvious conman/griter from NYC, where the people who actually know him gave him approximately 15% of the vote

 Of course FOX plays a major role, with Republican propagandists spouting their Dems BAD—Pubs GOOD doctrine, 24/7, to the sheep who are in desperate need of someone or something to FOLLOW.

Trump gets to play the Pied Piper.  And, for some combination of reasons that still mystify and baffle me – Trump’s free-floating and utterly mutable version of reality appeals to millions who seem to be looking for an omnipotent father figure to blindly follow.  In other words, Trump has become a full-fledged religious idol – alternate reality (as unstable and ephemeral as it is) is more powerful to many than plain old boring reality.

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
