  • President Trump granted clemency to 25 people on Wednesday, according to a White House official familiar with the matter, including Michael G. Grimm, a former Republican representative from Staten Island convicted of tax fraud; John G. Rowland, the former Republican governor of Connecticut who resigned and was also convicted of tax fraud; Kentrell Gaulden, the rapper known as YoungBoy Never Broke Again, or NBA Young Boy, who was sentenced to nearly two years in prison in a federal gun case; and Larry Hoover, the co-founder of a Chicago gang who was serving multiple life sentences for crimes including murder.

    Larry Hoover, the former leader of the highly organized gang, the Gangster Disciples, which had nearly 30,000 members in Chicago alone and raked in $100 million a year trafficking drugs across the country.

    The president’s people aren’t saying how much of the Trump family cryptocurrency he bought….

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
