Heard the Allman Bros song, Jessica,

and thought of the time we were doing an outdoor show outside of Dallas one night. The boys from The Allman Bros and Lynyrd Skynyrd were having a few beers backstage before the show, and the subject of who was going on last, therefore the 'headliner' band, was being 'discussed'. Dickey Betts said the "Bros" were last and Ronnie Van Zandt was sure that Skynyrd should finish up the evening. Well, push came to shove, and pretty soon Betts and Ronnie were swingin' at each other. Didn't last long, Dickie Betts got his butt kicked (although he did knock off Ronnie's hat)and Lynryd Skynrd was the final act that night. From then on, Barry Fey always decided the order, and that was that.
