Let me take a wild guess, here

IF Obama sends more troops to Afghanistan, the right-wingers will criticize him for some alledged problem. If he DOESN'T send more troops, they will criticize him for a different problem. Don't have to be a mind reader here. NO WAY, will the right wing be mollified, no matter what he does. Wanna bet?

I don't know about you, Stevo, but I'm thinking Barack doesn't have much chance of making much happen. There are extremely strong forces against him on the domestic scene. The Christian right is totally against him, believing him to be pro-Muslim. The south is absolutely not with the Black prez thing. We have a very weak Democratic Congress and Republicans siding with Fox and Limbaugh on the Socialism issue. Anti-Obama is more prevalent than anything I'd seen on Bush during his tenure.
