For all you wack jobs out there,

did you see how radical Obama was, with his message to students? He wants them to stay in school and get an education. BAD news for you. Education means they can think. Bad for you... If you can get them to listen to Rush and O'Reilly, instead of thinking, you have a chance, with your propaganda. Bush, and war, with $4/gal gas is good. Peace and health care reform is bad. Let's just hope, they think, instead of going with your agenda. It's they only way our species has a chance of surviving...

something even stranger is the GOP's aboutface on Medicare, thanks to the chairman of the Republican party, Michael Steele. In 1961, prior to the enactment of of the program, Ronald Reagan - along with other Repubs - denounced its creation as the leading edge of socialism; with Medicare in place, Reagan said, "You and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it once was like in America when men were free." He eventually dropped his oppososition to Medicare's existence, but as president he looked for ways to rein in its spending - and have most other Repubs and, in recent years, Dems, as well. However, Mr. Steele wants to protect Medicare and denounced it as a "single payer program" and "a very good example of what we shouldn't have happen with our health care". He promised that the Republican party won't cut Medicare. He's trying to undercut the Obama Healthcare reform.
