In a strange coincidence,

we find that Comey was fired, shortly after requesting more money for the FBI's probe into Trump/Russian connections.
Wow, who da think?
FBI Director James Comey had asked last week for more funding for the agency's investigation into Russia's alleged interference in the 2016 election, according to multiple media reports.
The New York Times, citing three officials with knowledge of the meeting, reported that Comey made his appeal last week in a meeting with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the person who signed the memo recommending the director's dismissal.
The Washington Post, CNN and NBC News all confirmed the Times' reporting.
