On the front page,


of the Denver Post, this morning, they had Colorado's new rankings. We had fallen to #2 in 'college educated population', but had risen to #1 in ACT/SAT scores. We remained #1 in 'lowest obesity prevalence'. Yup, educated people eat smarter. AND vote smarter, which is why we are a blue state. There's just something about that 'education thing', that helps you see through the Repub BS. Too bad the whole country isn't so well educated. The Glenn Beck's and Rush Limbaugh's of the world would have to get an honest job, instead of making a fortune preaching to the ignorant sheep who actually believe FOXNews....

What amazes me at this juncture in time, after a year in office, the blame for the economy, lack of jobs, deficit, Wall St., Banking, Home foreclosures, Congress, bowing to to Japan's ruler, avoiding Fox News, no doubt constipation, menopause, and Joan Rivers, lies with Obama. Now tell me, does anyone recall Georgie holding hands with the Saudi prince? When I hear the song by Billy Joel, We Didn't Start the Fire", it reminds me of the Bush administration.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them. A once proud party, like a beast in it's death throes, striking out to harm whatever's close, threatening to shut the gov't down, (again), over the debt limit, which is just paying the bills they already ran up.
