On this last day, of 2009,

and I watch the news, with several libraries closing in the Denver area, I realize how DEEP George W Bush ravaged our economy and future. I won't go into it any more right now, BUT, that SOB changed our country, and way of life, in ways that we won't fully realize for generations. Mark my words, this recession/depression isn't even CLOSE to being over, and it's on his shoulders. Oh yeah, and the idiots who voted him in....

there's not a body on Capitol Hill that gives one iota about the state of this nation. The Democrats collectively have circled their wagons, and so have the Republicans. God help us, we're the Indians.
Big business has ruled since Reagan signed degregulation and the small business folded under the pressure. Now median incomes can't get a loan to start new businesses because banks refuse, thanks to our govt. bailouts. It's a catch-22. Remember the movie? The only winner: Special Interest, Lobbyist, Congress. We get to sit on our thumbs and rotate.
