Was watching the news,

and saw a great quote, from a mentor, working with black, college freshmen. 'What do you HAVE to do, to do what you WANT to do'? I love that quote, because it is SO real. It gets down to the basics of life. You wanna go through the expense/hardship of 4 years of education? Or, you wanna drop out. Let me know how that "anti-education"/ FOX thing ,works for ya', in the real world, when it comes to getting a job, and actually earning a paycheck.

The starting salary is unworthy of a 4 year college education. There are so many graduates out there looking for jobs, employers can take their time, lower the starting salary, and be very picky. Companies are hiring 4 year degreed employees @ salaries of 12 to 14 dollars an hour in the Manufacturing/Design field. These are 25 to 35 dollar an hour starting salaries. There are so few jobs and so many applying. A glut on the market. It's happening in all fields. Then there's the payback of Student loans! Tell me, where is the gain?

Money is only one of the percs of an education. Bad as it is now, it would be worse without an education.
