Wow, finally

a decent snow, although we did get a few inches last week. Has been snowing all day and they're predicting about 10" Bad timing though, cuz we were planning on our annual Oscar's Party with the kids, where Carol makes up ballots, favors, prizes and we throw in a little $ to see who can predict the most winners. Was gonna be fun this year, cuz we've seen most all of the movies. The kids are too smart to brave the roads today, so it looks like I'll have to eat the huge dish of lasagna all by myself. Oh well, can't complain too much though, cuz we really need the snow.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
