The last time Dotard started a tariff war it was a disaster. The money raised from the tariffs were offset by losses because of tariffs levied by other countries, mainly China, who stopped buying US meat and grain.

 SO, the farmers got billions in subsidies, for NOT growing crops. 

They loved it, cuz the rest of us paid them to do nothing. Corporate farms jumped on the bandwagon, getting YUUUGE subsidy checks.

Sorta like the 10% ethanol mandate, where farmers grow corn that takes more energy to grow than it creates, while shrinking the world’s largest aquifer, growing overpriced, subsidized corn, instead of growing food to feed a hungry world.

Ain’t it wonderful how Washington works?
