This shutdown could go on for a long time. Boss Hogg was looking for (another) excuse to punish Blue States and he’s revelling in cancelling billions in already approved funds to them, while planning to shovel billions to his Red State farmers after he wrecked world markets. And, it keeps the Epstein Files off the front page, soooo, get ready for a long slog, with the ‘little people’ being hurt the worst, as always.
