Before Trump, it didn’t matter how your state voted when you needed disaster relief aid. Now, it’s all become politicized.

 

Trump approves disaster declarations for red states, as blue states go without

“President Trump and his administration have politicized disaster relief," one governor said, “and our communities are the ones who will pay the price.”
President Donald Trump approved major disaster declarations for Alaska, Nebraska, North Dakota and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe late Wednesday, while denying requests from Vermont, Illinois and Maryland and leaving other Blue states still waiting for answers.
