Dotard’s latest veto was for a bipartisan water project, that passed unanimously, to bring clean water to the eastern plains of Colorado, where his Colorado base lives. They ain’t too schmart out there, but this might schmarten em up.
The bill would have helped to fund a 130-mile pipeline to bring water from a reservoir near Pueblo to small farming and ranching towns on the Eastern Plains, where groundwater is contaminated with salt and even naturally occurring radioactive elements. The project has been in the works since the 1960s.
